Sharon Eaton, Managing Director, has 20 years experience within the Life Sciences industry gaining experience in R&D, regulatory compliance, sales, marketing, distributorship and channel management. Products managed have ranged from commodity and cutting edge consumables and laboratory equipment to high tech instrumentation with software components. With a passion for science, research and relationship management, Sharon tackles every project with a rare balance of strategic insight and attention to detail. Her MBA, obtained in 2002 from Strathclyde University, had a strong element of strategy development, data management and marketing relationship management. Electives included entrepreneurial business marketing, change management and managing service operations. An investigation of how Life Sciences companies identify, select, motivate and evaluate their overseas distributors was completed for her dissertation project. Sharon has also continued with her studies at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde University on a post graduate programme in technology entrepreneurship and was the Secretary for the Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network in 2003. Sharon founded BioChannel Partners in 2003 and is now implementing further expansion Biochannel Partners into the recruitment sector of Life Sciences with the planned hiring of three new partners.
