2011 Calendar Competition Winners
Winners of the 2011 Life-Sci Visions Calendar Competition have been announced
Lab901 and the ScreenTape System
Lab901 is a growing technology company within the global life sciences sector. As developer and manufacturer of a revolutionary, automated bio-molecular analysis platform known as the ScreenTape System, launched in 2007, the company has rapidly expanded to employ nearly 50 staff, mainly scientists and engineers, at their base in Loanhead near Edinburgh.
Watson, Malcolm and the Split Array Transducer
The inspiration for the split array transducer was a direct result of problems encountered during Dr Watson's clinical work, much of which involves provision of epidural or spinal analgesia and anaesthesia during childbirth.
