Speednetworking

Nexxus is pleased to present another of our ever popular Speednetworking events. The event combines an informative, fun and interactive presentation on good networking skills presented by professionals, combined with a practical speed networking session (imagine speed dating) to practice your new skills whilst developing new contacts.

An introduction by Jill Simpson, of DEVA Training, will provide an entertaining and enjoyable guide to improving your networking skills and speaking to strangers.  This will be rounded off  by a fun speed networking session where you'll have the opportunity to briefly engage with most, if not all (dependent on the number on the night), of the other attendees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for academics, researchers and life science industry professionals to meet, network and make new connections.

Come prepared to have some fun while learning how to:

  • Attend the right events and meet the right people
  • Walk into a room full of strangers without feeling nervous
  • Find common ground with people you don’t know
  • Build relationships that will benefit your business
  • Find business opportunities without doing a “hard sell”
  • Follow up and maintain great networks

And above all... enjoy yourself.
