The Sixth Sense - Advanced Sensor Technology
Heriot-Watt University's second annual Industry Day welcomes the views of those working in this sector, and who wish to discuss the important issues currently facing the industry. The cross disciplinary nature of sensor work at Heriot-Watt means we can supply the latest thinking and solutions to industry needs.
Topics include: Sensing for Security / Sensitive Measurements in Extreme Environments / From Data to Information / Biomedical Sensing
This all-day event is targeted at those working in:
- surveillance & security
- medical imaging
- machine vision
- defence
- condition monitoring and preventative maintenance
- production monitoring
- manufacturing and process control
- intelligent transport
Each topic will be led by an industry speaker, followed by in-depth discussion and case studies by Heriot-Watt academics on state-of-the-art technology.
