This award acknowledges the most promising young life science company in the West or East of Scotland.
The Nexxus Most Promising Young Life Science Company of the Year will be awarded to a company that satisfies all of the following conditions :
- has been established in the last three years (ie since August 2006)
- is involved in life sciences, either as a product or service company
- has a registered address in the West or East of Scotland
- is able to demonstrate a track record of growth and innnovation
This competition will be judged on all aspects of the company including :
- strengths of the management team
- degree of innovation of products or services
- progress towards commercial success (eg turnover; number of employees/science graduates and science PhD employed; deals done; collaborations established)
- the quality of the company's marketing activity
