The winners in the 2010 West Awards who were presented with their Awards in front of 150 guests from academia, industry and the NHS on 10 November 2010 in the Auditorium, Oran Mor, Glasgow were:
- Lifetime Achievement - Mr Kevin Moore, Business Therapies,
- Innovation - FixedPhage for their new method of treating bacterial infections
- Young Life Scientist of the Year - Dr Fiona Henriquez, Reader, University of the West of Scotland
- Most Promising Young Life Science Company of the Year - Sistemic, Glasgow

Winners of the 2010 East Awards received their accolades in front of a crowded room at the Playfair Library in Edinburgh. Almost 200 guests from across the life science community joined us in celebrating their achievements. The winners on the night were:
- Lifetime Achievement - Professors Noreen and Ken Murray
- Innovation - Blackford Analysis for their Registration Engine for Medical Engineering
- Collaboration (Sponsored by Edinburgh Science Triangle) - Blackford Analysis for their collaboration with University of Edinburgh Institute for Astronomy and SFC Brain Imaging Research Centre
- Young Life Scientist of the Year - Dr Asier Unciti-Broceta, University of Edinburgh and Deliverics
- Most Promising Young Life Science Company of the Year - Solid Form Solutions
