Nexxus, the West of Scotland BioScience Network, is pleased to declare entries open for this year's Annual Nexxus Life Science Awards.
Annual Nexxus Life Science Awards
The purpose of the Nexxus Life Science Awards is threefold :-
- To celebrate life science research excellence, the continued investments being made in creating world class research facilities and successful company growth in the West of Scotland
- To recognise the contribution of life sciences to the West of Scotland in terms of direct and indirect economic benefit to the area; resultant improvements in the health of the nation; the enhancement of the area's international reputation and its regeneration through growth of the high tech life science sector
- To encourage the life sciences sector to be all it can be in the future
The first Nexxus Life Science Awards were made in 2005 and such was the response that Nexxus intend to present these awards on an annual basis. Awards are made in four categories (click on each category below for more details and also for entry forms for the 2007 Awards which close on 7 September 2007) :
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Innovation Award
- Most Promising Young Life Science Company of the Year
- Young Life Scientist of the Year
